Once upon a time, I was very beautiful, energetic, and lively. Humans were living on me. I provided them with fresh air and the beauty of nature but what they did in response to me, she started crying again. After a brief pause, she continued her story. I provided a peaceful place to live, clean water to drink and a natural scene to enjoy. Humans were living happily. They loved me and they were grateful for my blessings.
With the passage of time, humans started taking me for granted. They devalued my beauty and peace. They started fighting against me. They started killing me, they spread pollution on me. She started crying again and repeated the statements, I can’t breathe, and I can’t breathe. They cut all my beautiful trees and damaged my personality. They are taking all my beauty, innocence and simplicity. They are taking me for granted, wasting each and every blessing. They are spreading plastic on me, killing my animals. They are killing me with their extra cars. Listen, beautiful girl, they are killing me, they are killing me. I also started crying with her. No clean water, no fresh air, no natural beauty, no energy, we will die; we will die with the death of Earth, I murmured.
Mother Earth stopped crying, looked at me strangely and hugged me with hope.
