In Karachi’s anti-terrorism court, the owner of the YouTube channel and the reporter were found guilty of blackmailing the owner of the clinic and receiving money.
The accused were sentenced to 5.5 years imprisonment and a fine of 10.10 thousand rupees.
The Anti-Terrorism Court pronounced the case against the reporter and the owner of the YouTube channel for blackmailing the owner of the clinic and receiving money.
The court sentenced the two accused to 5 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000.
Among the accused are channel owner Muzamil Aslam Monga and reporter Waseem Abbas Hashmi.
The court ordered the two accused to be taken into custody and sent to jail.
Clinic owner Arif Solangi had registered a case against the accused in Aziz Bhatti police station. According to the prosecution, last year the reporter came to Arif Solangi’s clinic with his cameraman, videotaped the clinic and threatened the deal.
The accused gave their mobile number and demanded three lakh rupees, they went to the office of the accused and gave one and a half lakh rupees, the accused also received money through easy money.
